He has more than 30 years of marketing and international business development experience in the telecoms and datacoms sectors, having worked in a range of senior management roles for British Telecom International, Motorola, Cable & Wireless, Mercury Communications, RR Donnelley, De La Rue Systems Ltd, Callahan Broadband Wireless Inc, Orange PLC, TNS PLC and Siemens PLC.

Tacis’ expertise covers fixed and mobile communications, cable, broadband and Internet of Things.  He has played key roles in winning and setting up the operations for both GSM and WiLL licenses.  In addition, he has set up operational divisions in a number of European countries for mobile and wireless local loop start ups.  He has been involved in the selection and negotiation of dealer networks and has experience with operators Globally. Has helped many companies enter new markets and extend their product line.
